Shawl

This is a shawl similar to what I would wear if we decide to have the wedding in the winter.

Obviously from SpAZooiE.com- an amazing site for very nice faux fur wedding accessories!

Music List

Earlier tonight I created a small sample of the music we are going to have at our wedding! This is exciting... sort of got me in the festive spirit just like Christmas music does!!!!

The playlist I made should be found if you scroll down to the bottom of the page. If you have your speakers on, it should play automatically. The songs are in no particular order and they are just some of the broad range of music that we love as a couple. Happy listening!

It is very easy to make one of these music gadget playlist thingys!
1-Visit http://www.playlist.com/ where you set up a free and user-friendly account.
2-Use the search bar by typing in the name of the song, artist, or combination. I think you can even use the album title if you know it.
3-Locate the song you meant to include within the list of results.
**Make sure to hit the play button and listen a good bit to the song to make sure it won't glitch in your list (still no guarantees, but less likely if you do this!)**
4-Click the "+" to add the song to your playlist.

You can have multiple playlists for one account so have fun!

Summer vs Winter??

So we are playing with two different dates right now:

1- July 10th, 2010 (one month prior to Nick's b-day and 2 months prior to mine)

OR

2- December 11th, 2010 (12/11/10)

Either way we'd never forget an anniversary!!
Option number one would be a nice summertime wedding probably (hopefully) with good weather and a lot of outside activity whereas option number two would probably be quite cold and nasty seeing as we live in Indiana. Pluses for the winter wedding are that Nick could wear a leather jacket instead of the suit/tux jacket and I could have a really good excuse for a dramatic faux fur shawl! It could be snowy though meaning I'd absolutely ruin my shoes :(:(...

What do you think???

Great Graphic Designer

Need someone to help you design your Save the Date's, Invitations, Programs, etc? My sister is a great graphic designer that works with people to create meaningful designs for their meaningful moments in life! She was the editor for The Statesman- Indiana State University's newspaper, so I assure you she is intelligent and much better at wording than myself!!

Here is a link to the blog:

Enjoy!!!!!

Happy Hump Day!

Hope everyone is doing well today! (I don't even know if anyone is watching yet!?) Sorry for the delay in posting and for the odd layout at times as I am learning about this site as I go. So far I am really enjoying it and can't wait to learn more!

Today (hopefully) I will be able to start throwing some more pictures up for my wedding inspiration. I apologize for how "picture book" this is for now, but I need to get my inspirations up, review, and describe a little bit later. Hopefully I will get better at posting by taking hints from those of you already familiar with this site. If you have any helpful tips or even if something just really irks you about my page/blogs, please let me know!!

I will be playing with layout all day today as I blog. Tips?? :)

Have a wonderful day!

The Dress!

These photos were found on theknot.com dress gallery:

LOVE the neckline and the details of these two dresses, they look antique and very feminine.

The bottom of the skirts on these two are so fun and flirty; they would look exquisite on a dance floor whirling about!
These dresses are a longer version of a mixture of the two sections of dresses above... make sense??
Loving the flowing trains and the antique details on the bodice.

Sources unknown on the following photos:
Audrey Hepburn is pictured here in the black and white wedding dress. Classic, feminine, different, love it!

Pink looks so beautiful in this dress! I love the neckline and how her black details stay true to her pretty, punk attitude.

Antique/Vintage Classy

Picture it....

Feathers, buttons, pearls, lace, tulle, etc. in colors from white to very light tan with black as a base.

Alright, now actually picture it!

To spice it up even further?? RED DETAILS!
